Once again DALRY BURNS CLUB are organising competitions in both schools in DALRY for all children from P1 to P7 The aim is to not only promote the works of Robert Burns, but the Scots language in general

Description

Both schools in DALRY are fully supported in our objective.from Primary 1 through to primary 7 inclusive will receive gift cards for All .

judges, and teachers are given small thank you tokens.We organise a bus to take parents, family and children to the Ayrshire Finals.

This year we also supported the families of the Ayrshire finalists to attend the Scottish finals in Port Glasgow. Dalry pupils won P5 singing and second in P5 recitation.

LAST YEAR WE SPENT £850 in prizes , medals, trophies and judges gifts

We also hired a bus £400 to Ayr for the families

We granted £150 for expenses to take families to Scottish finals.
