Also like the idea of the Group Transport Hire. I think the Day Hopper is an awful idea. That seems to be what we have received as Community Transport and that is not what people need to go about their daily lives. A lot of local groups and organisations offer days out for a very reasonable rate so think we should avoid this and focus on getting people to and from hospital, doctors, socialising, town, supermarkets etc.
Small charities organising day trips for seniors privately can be very expensive and out of the range of many service users in a high deprivation and poverty area like North Ayrshire
