NANN - North Coast and Cumbrae Locality4. How can the North Ayrshire Nature Network (NANN) provide local opportunities for education and green skills development?
For example:
- could the NANN provide an outdoor learning experience for school children, young people and our wider communities?
- how could the NANN be used to develop green skills like wildlife tourism, land management, ecologists, countryside rangers?
nature trail walks, get schools involved, use ex-criminals to do path maintenance, clearing litter-mentoring these people. arrange visits at sites to learn best practice. school visits and scheme visits

Inverclyde bee corridor -run by volunteers and community groups. mapping of exotic trees and flora. historical gardens and estates trail to engage people and recognise significance which then saves them.

There are many snorkelling trails in Scotland. North Ayrshire should have one too. 30m of shore should be a no-go zone for trawlers.
