NANN - Kilwinning Locality4. How can the North Ayrshire Nature Network (NANN) provide local opportunities for education and green skills development?
For example:
- could the NANN provide an outdoor learning experience for school children, young people and our wider communities?
- how could the NANN be used to develop green skills like wildlife tourism, land management, ecologists, countryside rangers?

more benches around green areas would encourage more people to go for walks. more playground areas for kids
schools to take them to wildlife
better for schools, people would use more if they knew where they could go walks
target school groups-support groups, deaf education, STR (behavioural needs) ASN groups
local wildlife walks-guided by rangers-engaging with primary and nursery developing outdoor learning-planting local areas and school grounds
community groups for nature workshops
would definitely, know what plants/walks are good

bringing in older people along with children, tapping tino knowledge of older people for children, oral history project, where you are matters!
