Access to the librarians knowledge and support, limiting access restricts my access to choose books or a cess other documents related to my study and development
Restricted in use of WiFi printing. Don't tend to borrow so much now because the Library has been underfunded for years so the choice is very restricted.
You're running the service into the ground. A library is a vital community resource, especially in a deprived area. An opportunity for the individual to develop their skills and abilities and for the community to grow and flourish.
Libraries really aren't expensive to run so these cuts are short-sighted. The benefits provided by libraries cannot be underestimated.

Stevenston library is a good walk for me also we have a book club last Thursday of the month also the library has many groups and those would be missed if it cam to the closing of certain days. Melanie and her co workers do a sterling job of keeping the place running. I am 83 and as I say I count walking as my exercises here and there
My shift work means I can go to the library knowing it would be open to assist with using the computer. To access North Ayrshire Council forms and assist with job information. The ladies in work at the library are very helpful with assisting using the library. I don't have WIFI at home, bad signal and find going to the local Stevenston library easy to access and in a good location
Myself and my family have used this library for many years and it would be sorely missed. It's a good place to meet new people and there's always plenty of activities going on for kids and adults. Very friendly staff and nothing is a problem to them in regards of helping you with things.
These changes would impact my family massively, myself and children visit Stevenston library a lot, it is the highlight of my child's day visiting reading books, coming to events. The difference this library makes is big. My children have always attended bookbug and enjoy visits with the school and nursery. I managed to get myself back into work with the help off staff with computers and being able to print CV out. I fell with the new proposed hours it will affect the community a lot. Adults and children will lose their education and a place to learn. The new hours proposed wouldn't work well as would by family would miss out on daily visits we have in here. Stevenston Library is the heart of Stevenston and you would be affecting everyone around if the hours in here where to change. From my 6 year old - it's fun learning and you would miss out of learning, you wouldn't have somewhere to learn if schools where off

The library is the hub of the community and whilst I am in the main a user of Sally oats Library I am concerned about the impact of the proposals on vulnerable service users and community groups .
Stevenston library isn't just a place to borrow books. There are groups on, it's also a social space for so many members of the Community. Library also a hearing aid hub, which I use as well.
I think closing it every day apart from a Thursday and Friday is the first step on closing it completely as there will be fewer people able to visit, so reduced numbers.
The 2 members if staff, who are so supportive will also be affected.

Part of a writing group that meets on a Monday at Stevenston Library. Proposed changes would make things very difficult to continue the group.
