  • Flexibility of opening hours - Mondays don't suit at all. I am registered blind however since getting my cataracts done in my left eye I am able to now read large print books which I can't describe how much has opened up my life. Having regular access to these books is so vital to me. I know I can rely on help from library staff which I need often and a cut to them would have a detrimental impact.

    • Improved opening hours on Thursday suits me as I work on Wednesdays. However, I believe the library should be open as often as possible as a community amenity

      • Being retired I can go anytime, anywhere. I think it is a good idea to have the library open for whole days - including a break for the librarian. But I am concerned about groups that use the premises and how these changes will affect them. I hope you will take these groups into your consideration

Makes it even more difficult to access the library than before as a shift worker.

OK for me, but I'm concerned about effects for others

The same opening hours on the proposed opening days might be a positive but the loss of one day reduces some flexibility to call in /change books etc. The library seems an important part of village life and to be well used.
