The changes increase my access to my chosen library which is Saltcoats. What I would like to explain why Saltcoats is my chosen library. Saltcoats is busy and an engaging environment. Lots of different ages and activities get along very well. An ethos is a very hard thing to define but Saltcoats library is just very welcoming. The reason I believe the ethos is so positive here is the two ladies who work here. They are helpful, positive, welcoming and work very hard to help the diverse groups who use the library. Trust me I have seen indifference or worse in other libraries. My reading of the hours changes is that staff could change. You need the library assistants that make Saltcoats library the place that it is. You already have them.
