Tennis - a reward for life

I can honestly say that tennis has been one of the things I have enjoyed in my life. The fun of being with others, the feeling of using my body skilfully, the joy of being out in the sun. I was sort of taught at school and went to the local tennis club, played at college and coming to live on Arran at 21 played on, on courts which are now under housing. It is wonderful to see the resurgence of tennis in Brodick and I hope and expect the young people involved will get to love the game as much as I do.
