<p>At Dalry Action Group we are looking for funding to help replenish the christmas lights around our town. we like to hold an annual christmas light switch on where families from all the garnock valley can come and enjoy seeing our town lit up, with activities for the kids.</p>

<p>The Community Garden was established during lockdown when we were able to work outdoors and socialy distance.</p> <p>Over the last 3 years we have welcomed many visitors, gained new trustees, work with various groups including the schools, hosting and organising events.</p> <p>We grow produce which goes back to the community helping with the cost of living.</p> <p>We offer teas and coffees and plenty chat as the last three years have had a devastating effect on people's mental heath and wellbeing.</p> <p> </p>

<p>Dalry BurnsClub has been in existance for almost 200 years, starting in Dalry in 1825</p> <p>for many years we have been promoting not only, the works of Robert Burns The Scottish language, Scottish music, but the hertitage of the community. eg</p> <p>donating £800 to Dalry Girls football team for new kit...£200 to Dalry Action group for new Christmas Lights, We are well known in the town for sponsoring both Primary Schools in the town each year Annual schools Burns songs and recitation competitions , as well as the Dalry Nursery School £300 for new books</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

<p>Beith Orr Park Neighbourhood Watch saw a need in 2015 to begin a Community Garden at 2 – 6 Mitchell, Street Beith following the annual litter pick when the local Scouts did a clear up in this derelict area.</p>

There is limited ground in the Garnock Valley for this and we feel that this is something that we could offer. </span></span></span></p> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:107%"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"> Costings for this would include – The Polly tunnel and groundwork. </span></span></span></p>
