Serenity Soul is a community wellbeing hub in Saltcoats, created to provide an inclusive and welcoming space where local people can connect, access wellbeing opportunities and improve their mental and emotional wellbeing.
We want to use this funding to provide a programme of free and accesssible wellbeing activities for the local community. The aim is to give people opportunities to try different approaches to wellbeing, meet other and discover activities that may help them manage stress, improve confidence, reduce isolation and feel more connected to the local community.
Rather than expecting people to already know what support they needm we want Serenity Soul to somwehere they can simply walk throught the door, take part and explore what works for them. Funding would allow us to bring in local facilitators and practitioners to provide a varied programme of sessions and workshops. Activities could include relaxation and mindfulness, sound and holistic wellbeing session, creative activities, confidence and personal development workshops, group wellbeing sessions and other community-led activities.
A key part of the project will be listening to the people who use the Hub and allowing them to help shape the programme. This will enable us to repond to what the community actually wants to see and create opportunities fpr people not only to attend, but to connect, participate and become more involved.
Rpoject costs - £1000
* External facilitators and practitioners for community wellbeing sessions - £500
* Equipment and reusable resources for wellbeing activities - £250
* Materials and consumables for workshops and activities - £150
* Community outreach and promotional materials - £100
Total - £1000
All funding will be used directly to provide the community wellbeing programme and associated activities and resources. it will not be used towards the routine running costs of serenity soul

Location: Serenity Soul Wellness Hub is based in the heart of Saltcoats and supports people from across The Three Towns and surrounding areas. The Hub provides a welcoming community space where people can come together and connect with others. accessing activities that support their mental, emotional, physical and social wellbeing. Being based centrally allows us to provide opportunities within the community we live in. We want The Hub to be somewhere people feel comfortable walking through the doo, whether they are looking for suppprt, wanting to improve their wellbeing, feeling isolated or simply looking to connect with others. The Hub aims to directly benefit the local area by providing more free accessible activities, creating opportunities for social connection and encouraging people to become more involved in their community.
