Description
Beith Town Centre Initiative is seeking support to run next year’s Christmas Light Switch‑On. This long‑standing event brings together children, older residents, and vulnerable members of our community, creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere for everyone. Thanks to last year’s funding, we have been able to prepare this year’s event, which is still to take place, and we are very grateful for that support.
The cost of professional lighting installation and operation continues to rise, and we rely on local fundraising, volunteers, and donated services to assist with coats. However, we still face a shortfall — especially for the elements that make the event special, such as free light wands for children, facepainting, refreshments, and Santa’s grotto gifts etc.
Your support will help us keep this much‑loved tradition alive and ensure next year’s event remains a bright, safe, and joyful celebration for the whole community.
Outgoings - funding sought for:
Venue hire: £250

Light up batons £150
