Three Towns
Summary
A group for over 60's men, who meet to play board games, have lunch and support each other socially and economically. The group also bring in speakers and advise on current opportunities for their members.
Description
The lunches are a key social event of the week for many our members who are socially isolated due to health and also bereavement. Some members find cooking a challenge and this lunch serves not only a social aspect but a bit of restbite. Over the years as a group we have relied soley on fundraising which has been challenging having PB funding takes some of that pressure off and helps us focus on our members and our aims and objectives for the year ahead and pay for simple things like teas, coffees and biscuits. We would also like to host a Christmas Lunch party for the participants in December of 2027 to allow them to have something to look forward to during the winter season.
2027 Christmas Lunch party (cover dinner, teas, coffee hall hire and decorations) - £450
Lunches - £450
Group Tea & Coffee - £50
Biscuits - £50
