Our club brings older people together every Monday in William Love Memorial Hall, offering a welcoming space to connect, share company and ease feelings of isolation. We provide a range of uplifting activities such as bingo, quizzes, armchair aerobics, day trips and celebrations of special occasions like Christmas and Burns Day, all designed to bring joy and companionship.

The continued support of Corsehill Retirement Club helps older adults overcome loneliness and feel part of a caring community. For many members, our activities are their only chance to socialise, make friendships and enjoy moments of fun. Everything we do promotes positive health, wellbeing and much‑needed laughter.

We hope to host a Burns Day dinner with entertainment for 35 older members of our community, including music and dancing to create a memorable, inclusive celebration. Funding would help ease financial pressures by providing a warm meal in a warm space, ensuring every member can attend regardless of affordability. This support will allow us to offer equal access to social opportunities that help our members feel connected, valued and never alone.

In order for the event to take place, we are asking for £1000 to cover the cost of the following: 

Hall Hire:  £50

Dinner: £20 per person x 35 people: £700

Piper: £50

Entertainment:  £200
