We hope to provide a range of sensory toys, activities and supply ear defenders at all our community events to allow participation for Neurodiverse children
Description
We will use any funding to purchase sensory toys etc, for autistic children to be able to attend and partiicipate at our community events. This will obviously benefir families with neurodivergent chikdren. There are a range of toys and activities that can be purchased from the National Autisitc Society but our priority will be ear defenders. Nuero diversity affects 1 in 5 of all children in Scotland. As inclusiveness is part of out constitution we belive this will go some way to allowing the children of ayrshire to partipate in all our events in 2027.
The items that we are considering are as follows
ear defenders x 20 =£360
Bean bags x4 = £353
Sensory blow up tents x 2 = £160
