Garnock Valley
Summary
We are seeking funds to help inspire and facilitate local people to look after Beith Orr's Trust Park. We plan to invest in litter picking stations and organise a 'clean up the park' event. To celebrate success and recruit new volunteers we then plan to have a fun day in the park.
Description
Our project aims to bring people together from dog walkers to skatepark users, football players, and families making use of the playpark facilities. We are striving to encourage local people to take pride in their local park and to help look after it. We are urging people to look after their local environment and behave responsibly. We want to celebrate success and engender a greater sense of community belonging and involvement.
Community Litter Stations – £500
Celebrate our success event - £500 (provision of refreshments and children’s activities)
