We're a small amateur drama group, running in Cumbrae since 1932. We meet, rehearse and stage full length and one-act plays for our local community and summer visitors to the island. We're very inclusive, ages range from 18 to 80, and generally generate enough income to cover hall hire, script purchase and props and general running costs. However, we are moving to a bigger venue and need to purchase some radio microphones, to make sure our audiences can hear all of the dialogue and to allow us to stage more elaborate performances. The funding will make sure everyone, including the hard-of-hearing, can be included in all events.

The system costs £800 for a set of 8 microphones
