As a small community football team, we often face financial challenges that can make it difficult for our players to attend tournaments and football events. The costs involved in tournament entry fees, travel and other expenses can quickly add up and place a financial burden on families. Funding would help reduce these barriers and give our young players more opportunities to take part in tournaments, experience competitive football, build confidence and teamwork, and enjoy more memorable experiences with their teammates and families, (our football family). This support would make a real difference to our team and help ensure that financial circumstances do not prevent our children from participating

The funding will be used to purchase essential football equipment and clothing for the Milan 2018s team. This will include 10 new footballs at an estimated cost of £70–£100, providing the team with suitable equipment for training and matches. Funding will also cover 18 robe-style jackets at £24 each (£432) to keep the players warm during the winter months, along with 18 three-quarter zip training jumpers at £19 each (£342). These items will help ensure the children are properly equipped, comfortable and able to participate in training and football activities throughout the year.
