Project Summary

We are part of the world wide guiding organisation and meet weekly for girls aged 5-10, to have a safe welcoming space to learn new skills, build friendships and grow in confidence. A key part of our programme is hands on activities such as crafts and creative projects, to help the girls develop teamwork and have pride in their accomplishments. Funding will allow us to purchase craft supplies and materials in order that all girls can benefit regardless of their family situation.

Project Description

Our unit has a problem with dampness getting into cupboard space, which held all our existing craft supplies, these are now all ruined.

We will be holding a sponsor event in the next few weeks in order to raise some funds to purchase replacement crafts, It is hoped this will raise around £200. 

In order to replace all the pens,paper,paint,glue, etc we estimte will cost around £700.
