This project aims to provide our children with new, updated musical instruments, including various drums, keyboards, tambourines, hand percussion instruments, and two sets of boomwhackers. Additionally, we are seeking funding for a digital music technology program. These resources will enable students to learn and enjoy music in a more engaging and modern way, aligning with current technological trends.
Currently, our limited selection of instruments restricts the children’s ability to reach their full musical potential. By acquiring these new instruments and digital tools, we will open more opportunities for student development, including the expansion of after-school and lunchtime music clubs.
Furthermore, having a dedicated music space within the school provides a safe and relaxing environment where children can socialize, share interests, and build friendships through a common love of music. This initiative will help foster confidence, creativity, and inclusivity among our students.

The answer to this question is private.
Location: Kilwinning is a deprived area, and for many children, the school is often the only place where they can access new and exciting opportunities. Providing musical instruments through this funding will open up a new world of fun and creativity for our students. It will give them the chance to explore music, develop new skills, and enjoy themselves in a safe and supportive environment. This initiative aims to inspire confidence, encourage teamwork, and foster a love of music that can have lasting positive effects on their wellbeing and development.
