Summary
We would like to train more mountain bike leaders. We need more leaders to deliver multi ability groups and remove the need for a waiting list for participants. With more leaders we could return to a girls only day and run more trips more often.
Description
Mountain bike leader training £295 x 4 = £1180
Mountain bike leader assessment £195 x 4 = £780
First aid training £95 each x 4 = £380
TOTAL £2340
Arran High School Mountain Bike Club would fund the remaining amount through our own money gained from donations and fundraising.
How have young people been involved in shaping this project?
Three senior boys and one senior girl form our young people committee. They voted for more leaders as their most important thing needing developed.
