The Dirrans Centre is a rehabilitation service that supports individuals living with long-term conditions, helping them manage challenges related to physical health, mental health, and cognitive wellbeing. One of our valued initiatives is the Gardening Group, which meets most Tuesdays (weather permitting). This group is made up of volunteers who have previously used our service and now wish to give back by creating and maintaining a safe, welcoming outdoor space for everyone to enjoy.

We hope to organise special events for Valentine’s Day and Easter, as well as bus trips, helping our members connect and enjoy life together. Funding will ensure these activities are free and accessible for everyone.

In our first year of opening, we’ve created an inspiring space where people of all ages and abilities can discover the joy of sewing. We deliver affordable, hands-on workshops that teach the basics of sewing while encouraging creativity through making unique, handmade items. We need support with marketing to help raise awareness to the local people about us.

Everyone is encouraged to come along and join in and try different skills be it canoeing , kayaking , water boarding etc Hence creating a friendly environment where people are comfortable to try new things . It’s a fantastic way to make friends , stay fit , and learn life saving skills .
