Formed in 2022 and fully constituted, we are a group of volunteers who survey the core path network in Eglinton Country Park and identify problem areas affecting user accessibility. We primarily improve paths where there is flooding and cut back branches, bushes and overgrowth along borders to help make paths accessible for all park users.

We would like to hire 2 buses to take the members on a day trip. Our summer trip cost for 2 53 seaters was £1700

The Garden Haven will transform community wellbeing by linking food growing, sharing, and holistic health with education, therapies, and sustainable practice in a dedicated space.

To support those with lesser mobility to gather in establishments where intergenerational socialising is the norm. This supports physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and a sense of belonging to all of the community, not being segregated by age nor mobility.

Every year the Irvine Seniors Forum run an information day and now, after our successful first health and well being day, we are looking to put both of these events on in 2026. These events are great for older folk who enjoy the these days and interact with others out with their normal circle whether large or small.

A new after-school club providing tutor-led support for Kilwinning pupils, improving education, confidence, and opportunities

The Committee aims to provide social events for residents of Vennel Gardens and wider community members to help reduce social isolation and enhance the health and wellbeing of our over 50's. The group has been active for over two years now and has over 50 members who have taken part in various social activities such as bus outings, live entertainment afternoons and lunch clubs.
