Friends of Trindlemoss is a group made up of parents, family, carers and people with learning disabilities who access Trindlemoss Day Opportunities. The group was formed to fund raise and purchase new equipment, raise money for outings and let service users try new experiences for example a group went on a sailing ship and another group experienced a trip on the Seagull Trust barge. The group hold social events once a month within Trindlemoss Day opportunities.

Firth of Clyde Coastal Rowing Club (Foccrs) are desperately needing an all weather gazebo style shelter for attending rowing, fundraising and recruitment events.

Our budget friendly community café serves as an important gathering spot, fostering connections and local initiatives. Enhancing its appeal with eye-catching signage and outdoor seating can attract more customers and dog walkers & create a welcoming atmosphere for residents to relax and socialise, ultimately strengthening community interaction and togetherness.

A pilot Free Junior Hayocks Youth Café. The Junior Youth café will aim to address local challenges of child/food poverty, anti-social behaviour, excessive screen time, and social isolation. By offering a safe, welcoming, and cost-free food, we group will support families struggling with the cost of living, promote equality, and provide opportunities for socialising activities, and confidence building for kids. Our aim – to create lasting benefits for children, families, and our wider community.

Millport Town Hall is soon to open. A project dear to our hearts is a Film Club for everyone, all ages and totally accessible. We have existing contacts and wish to engage for ten weeks someone who can research and develop the idea. This can then be taken forward for a community who will benefit in so many ways.

To commemorate the Centenary of the Skelmorlie Reservoir Disaster our wee Garden Group adopted a piece of land..sourced a Memorial via the British Dams Society..and have sympathetically planted a Memorial Garden.

The Committee aims to provide social events for residents of Vennel Gardens and wider community members to help reduce social isolation and enhance the health and wellbeing of our over 50's. The group has been active for over two years now and has over 50 members who have taken part in various social activities such as bus outings, live entertainment afternoons and lunch clubs.
