A community dance showcase, workshops, and merchandise to raise funds for DDLS, supporting young dancers’ competition costs and making dance more accessible

After a very successful 2024-25 season the Irvine Sharks have for a second year won their league undefeated and again received promotion from Division 2 to Division 1. The teams members majority are all approaching 40 or over. Many who had been inactive over the past years before the start of this club. This has led to a dramatic boost again in members physical and mental health.

Chatty Chalkers (a subgroup of SeaSalt Streets) wishes to expand Saltcoats' arts & heritage trail by creating more murals and introducing small pieces of wire sculptures. These installations will be carried out by locals (children and adults) who will be trained by Chatty Chalkers artist The Inked Pigeon through a series of free classes!!!

Art in Mind now has two weekly groups in different venues, for people with mental ill health . We want to learn about printing, and have a printer and a specialist printmaker to teach us all. If we are successful with this application, we will pay our specialist to service the printer, and prepare some training sessions in various printing techniques, for tutors, members and volunteers. We also need some storage to rationalise our art materials, and make them more accessible and easy to use.

Relocation of Men's Shed Dalry

Our Building Skills and Inspiration project is 3 fold : 1. Transport to visit Scottish Quilting Show for ideas and inspiration. This is especially important for our non drivers who otherwise cannot attend. 2. Engage tutor to give us a workshop to build skills 3. Buy materials to facilitate members giving workshops withing the group

We will join the Scotland's Gardens scheme and design and print a booklet for visitors to explore our village.

We are a group of residents within a Sheltered Housing complex who aim to provide social events that bring people together and help reduce social isolation.
