Marymass Committee is made up of volunteers who run the 12 day festival every year. We We are a group of volunteers who run the full 12 days of the Marymass Festival. Our festival and events are open for everyone across the Irvine locality and North Ayrshire. Marymass is a traditional horse festival held every August in Irvine. Mixing traditional with modern, our 12 days of festivities means there is something for everyone! From horse racing to fireworks, funfair, dog show, live music and so.

On an annual basis, Kilmory and Kildonan organsie a Christmas Lunch bringing together all those over the age of 65. This includes those socially isolated and those who live in rural isolation. For many of our senior citizens it is a chance to meet with the new residents of the villages and and link up with old friends. We provide an excellent three course lunch , a gift from Santa and an afternoon of entertainment. Free transporation is offered for all.

WKCIL exists to support the regeneration of the village through Craft Town Scotland. WKCIL rents studios to crafters, helping to keep the village vibrant. The Barony Centre is the hub of all the activity, acting as a central point for showcasing and selling arts and crafts from local and National artists and makers. There is also a very busy cafe in the Barony, which acts as a community hub. WKCIL employs 11 part-time staff, all based in the Barony centre.

We offer counselling and recovery support to the disadvantaged, most vulnerable and isolated due to their unresolved trauma and mental health issues. Our purpose is to create opportunities for those who have suffered trauma or addiction and to find healing, release, and restoration through one-to-one counselling. We also offer support groups and workshops.
