To seek funding for the purchase of essential equipment to establish and maintain a polytunnel as part of our youth development project. The initiative aims to provide young people with hands-on experience in horticulture, sustainability, teamwork, and healthy living, while strengthening community engagement.

We are a small nursery in Dalry, with a parent run committee. We are applying for funding to purchase outdoor resources i.e. clothing and equipment. The appropriate outdoor clothing will ensure children have equal access regardless of familys financial situation, promotes inclusion, encourages outdoor play in all weathers and enhances learning opportunities. Outdoor learning is such a fantastic way for children to learn as it boots confidence and supports mental and physical wellbeing.

We are a community larder that helps people facing food insecurity to access various food items at a low cost to enable them to have access to food as well as allowing them to use the money saved for other things during the ever rising cost of living.

Our Building Skills and Inspiration project is 3 fold : 1. Transport to visit Scottish Quilting Show for ideas and inspiration. This is especially important for our non drivers who otherwise cannot attend. 2. Engage tutor to give us a workshop to build skills 3. Buy materials to facilitate members giving workshops withing the group

Kilbirnie and Glengarnock Age Concern has been active for over 50 years and aims to provide the elderly within our community with the opportunity to socialise and participate in activities that benefit their wellbeing and reduce social isolation. Since covid this has become even more important as many people have become more isolated and have a fear of going out. We meet weekly in Bridgend Community centre and aim to provide excursions twice a year.

This much-loved community tradition brings together families, local businesses, and visitors to celebrate, strengthen community spirit, and support the town’s local economy. The Christmas Light Switch-On is more than just a seasonal event. It fosters pride and belonging, creating a sense of joy and togetherness during a time that can be challenging for many.
