Food & Heat is going to be the topic of our winter campaign for the community. We run the community cafe in the centre which is open 5 days a week 7.30am until 4.30pm. The centre would like to supply hot soup with a roll, or a hot meal & a hot drink 3 times a week to take a wee bit of pressure off in the winter.

The project supports people living with dementia to enjoy 1-2-1 befriending, provide companionship within their home, or attend one of our dementia wellbeing cafes.

We are looking for funding to provide t-shirts to existing club members and to offer them to new members as a way of building community, fostering healthy exercise and good mental health in an inclusive setting.

Dalry Community Sports Club are looking to run a series of free Community Cinema events in Dalry Community Centre to bring the community together and to help combat social isolation issues.

We would like to host 2 networking events to raise the profile of Irvine Community Council and other voluntary organisations of Irvine.

As planned the Irvine Sharks have established in their first year a senior men’s basketball team made up of members all approaching 40 or over. Many who had been inactive over the past years. This has led to a dramatic boost in members physical and mental health. The men’s team completed the season winning the Strathclyde Basketball League Division 3 18-0 and have received promotion to Division 2.

The Kilmory Primary Parent Council are seeking funding to enable their P5 - P7 cohort of children to have swimming lessons for a term of their academic year.

The day Kilwinning comes together in McGavin Park, Picnic in the Park. The second Thursday in August, try ir sessions, family entertainment, services promoting themselves and music on stage. Free activities and some paid for activities at a one price wristband to assist with affordability and inclusion.
