Known as Gilmour's Path, the pedestrian lane which provided safe access to the Glen away from the vehicular access has fallen into disrepair and is now so boggy and overgrown as to be rendered unusable. The proposal is to clear the overgrown vegetation and to improve the path by laying Type 1 stone making the entrance safer for pedestrians. Friends of Kirkton Hall Glen has the support of the various sports groups using the Glen's facilities and West Kilbride Environmental Group in this proposal.

We require to upgrade access to the WK Glen at the discrete entrance from the B7047. This is to permit the renovation of the dilapidated blaes football pitch into a grassed multi use area for the Community.
