The aim of the knitting and sewing group is to make fidget muffs and fidget aprons/ blankets for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. These are helpful for local nursing homes such as Cumbrae Lodge who give these to residents to help keep them calm and occupied.

Irvine and District Pipe Band are looking for funding to continue our great program of free tuition to anyone who wants to learn either the bagpipes or drums associated with Scottish music.

The project seeks to provide visitors with a more informative and easier accessed display of the chair in which Robert Burns sat while in an Irvine bookshop. This will illustrate the central role of William Templeton, the bookseller, in the development of Robert Burns from apprentice flax dresser to world famous published poet.
Feed our Community

Choices Community Shop is a community food project set up by volunteers in the community to provide food with dignity to those in need. The funding will be used to help reduce the impact of poverty within the community based on individual needs. Our Community Shop has capacity to support approximately 100 households per week but with over 400 registered, many have to wait. This grant will allow for more households to be able to get support when they need it by getting access as required.
Irvine Vineburgh Boxing Club

We are looking for funding to put towards the club, it helps bring young people off the streets and learn how to look after their wellbeing. The club is open to everyone aged 5-95.
Glebe Primary PTA/PC

Glebe Primary School prides itself on its values of Respect, Responsibility, Creativity and Kindness. We have a very small but very active combined PTA/PC who are constantly looking at ways to enhance our schools’ pupils experience both inside and outside the school. We work hard to fundraise for all kinds of activities for the children including school trips, discos and themed events proving treats to all the children throughout the school year.
Parent Wellbeing and Health Event

We are a North Ayrshire based mental health charity that supports children and young people to rediscover hope and happiness through theraputic interventions. We intend to run a session for parents of young people that we support to promote physical and mental wellbeing. The Parent Wellbeing and Health Event will be open to adults and parents of young children.
Pathway into Music

Music@Wellwood organises educational events, aimed mainly at Senior School pupils, and concerts which are open to all members of the community. In conjunction with North Ayrshire Council Music Services, Music@Wellwood wishes to organise a Vocal Masterclass for young people from across North Ayrshire. Those participating would receive guidance, technical advice and possible progression pathways into music in conjunction with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Castlepark Primary School Parent Council - After School Family Hub

Castlepark Primary Parent Council are planning to run an after-school 'Family Hub'. We will run workshops with different themes each week, including ‘help with homework’ and ‘family fun’. A healthy meal or snack will also be provided. Our aim is to support family learning, engage with the local community and promote health and wellbeing. This will be free of charge to those who attend.

We would like funding to replace our shed which was destroyed by vandals, this will allow us to restart community growing initiatives and horticulture projects.
