The grant seeks funding for belay devices for the Mountain Rescue Team to improve rescue safety and efficiency. This will enhance wellbeing, build community spirit, and support environmental conservation.

Expanding Arran's community gardens through forest garden principles alongside no-dig gardening techniques to enhance biodiversity, food security, and community resilience while promoting sustainable land use.

We are looking for funding to provide our annual Christmas lunch for the senior citizens of the villages of Kilmory and Kildonan. For many of our senior citizens it is a chance to link up with old friends and neighbours and to meet many of the new people to the villages. We provide an excellent Christmas lunch with a gift from Santa an three course lunch and an afternoon of entertainment . Free transport is also provided. This annual event promotes positive mental health and wellbeing.

Art in Mind is a twice weekly Art Group, for residents of Arran living with Mental Ill Health. It was started in 2004, by Arran Visual Arts, in Collaboration with Community Mental Health, NAC Social Work Department and Arran Community Voluntary Services. In 2023, the second group started in response to demand, funded by Arran Community Council's Scottish Power Renewables ’Beinn an Tuirc Windfarm Fund. A part time Coordinator and four new Art Tutors, were recruited to run both groups.

The Kilmory Primary Parent Council are seeking funding to enable their P5 - P7 cohort of children to have swimming lessons for a term of their academic year.

Arran Bee Group is an informal group of amateur beekeepers based on the Isle of Arran. We meet regularly to share knowledge about the science and craft of this ancient pastime and welcome new members keen to learn the first steps in keeping bees. The membership of the group is growing and we now need a mechanised way of extracting honey that can be shared across the membership to increase the supply of honey to island residents.

Please enable us to provide a block of swimming lessons to our P4 and P5 class at Whiting Bay Primary School. Help open up this vital life skill to all children and give them the opportunity to improve their confidence and physical well-being.

We seek to buy a greenhouse to improve the experience for therapeutic gardening groups, and especially elderly and disabled participants, in the Heather Lodge garden.
