We are looking to run two events one in Bourtreehill and one in Irvine Town Centre to bring the community together with food, bingo and a raffle. These events will take place during the winter months to provide a place the marginalized in the community can get food and kept warm as well as socializing with the local community.
Description
During the winter months individuals become isloated and do not leave there home and this will be a chance for them to get out and meet others in the same circumsatnces. We have run these events previously and the feedback we get is great with arounf 80-100 in attendance.
The cost for each event will be:
Food £200
Bingo Prizes and raffle Prizes £50
Location: The areas that we are looking to cover are the most deprived areas in Irvine and are in most need of help.
Proposed on behalf of: Care For Your Community Group and they help people who are social isolated or in poverty
