We are a toddler group for families with children under three years. We provide parent and child sessions to promote friendships and a sharing of experiences among adults, and activities to promote the wellbeing of babies and children. The group members have the opportunity to engage in activities that might not be available to them. The group is open three mornings per week, we use a large hall for active play and snack, small hall for activities and an early years room for baby activities .
Description
The project is Art Venturers it is a programme designed fo babies and children under three years. The aim is to develop a childs creativity by providing experiences and opportunities for creative play in a relaxed environment. Children explore and create at their own pace and develop a sense of well being . the programme promotes bonding and attachments between the babies and their caregivers. A professional early years worker leads the sessions and the sessions are planned to support childrns development.
The costs of the project is 20 sessions at £50 per session £1000
Location: : We are a registered charity that has been operating in the three towns for over thirty years. The group has a membership of over 120 families . We aim to provide a welcoming, safe, stimulating and warm environment where children, parents and carers will feel valued and supported. We aim to promote friendships and play skills for children and among the adults who care for them. We will promote adult and child interaction through various activities and experiences. We will encourage ownership of the group through consultation and participation in decision making.
