We would like to give our Brownies the opportunity to take part in the Girlguiding programme which includes learning new hobbies, getting creative, developing skills having outdoor adventures, cooking and learning life skills. We would also like go on a summer outing of the girls choosing. This will enable children to socialise by meeting new friends and participating in fun activities that they may not be able to participate in due to the current cost of living crisis.

Proposed on behalf of: We are a Brownie unit based in Ardrossan. We have girls from Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston attend. Brownies introduce girls to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun. They get together with their friends at weekly meetings where they learn new hobbies, get creative, develop skills and have outdoor adventures. As well as trying activities in their meetings, girls choose from interest badges related to things they want to know more about. They take on a broad range of challenges as they explore the topics that sit within our six programme themes - Know Myself, Express Myself, Be Well, Have Adventures, Take Action and Skills For My Future.
