We intend to hold a concert in Geilsand hall in April 2023 and would like to invite a choir such as Beith/Gateside School or perhaps Garnock Campus Choir and piper. The money would be used to provide support for these choirs and performers to attend this concert. Encouraging young people in public performances is important as it increases their confidence and health and wellbeing.

Refreshments for choir and performers: £100
Total cost for that element of concert: £400
The remainder of overall costs: Stewards, First Aider, Hall Hire and Band fee will be paid out of Barrmill Jolly Beggars Burns Club funds.

Proposed on behalf of: Hope to hold concert on Sunday in May 2023 depending on hall availability at Geisland Campus. Holding this concert gets folk out after the long period of being incarcerated in homes due top pandemic. People are still somewhat nervous, so holding such events will encourage them to socialise once again. The concert will also build self-esteem for the young people performing with an adult big band..
