We have outgrown our small basic greenhouse. We have been able to raise most of the funds to purchase a new substantial larger one. This will benefit our volunteers and schools and will enable us to grow so much more from seed and give us an extra space for teaching, producing more fruit and vegetables to give back to our community. We have found the health and wellbeing of our volunteers and visitors have greatly improved by participating at the community garden.

Proposed on behalf of: We aim to start the build of our new greenhouse mid April. The Community Garden is growing in strength and numbers and we feel that by having a bigger greenhouse, we will be able to offer more opportunities to our volunteers and our local schools who visit us regularly but very much weather dependant. It would provide a better working enviroment for everyone and can be used as a private meeting place for any of the organisations that regulary access the garden with their service users.
