Our fleet of boats is in need repair with a purchase of more sails for our FEVA boats being the main purchase for the dinghies, there is also a need for handheld navigational equipment for our safety boats. This was highlighted in our latest safety review by the Royal yachting Association.
Amount Requested: £1000
The costs for the items come to more than £1000, we will use club funds to make up the shortfall.
We charge £60 per child for 15 sailing sessions throughout the year
FEVA main sail £250 x 3 = £750
FEVA Training Jib £150 x 3 = £450
GPS handheld units £150 x 2 = £300

Proposed on behalf of: The current sails are well used and in need of replacement to allow the young people to continue sailing the boats. The RYA recommended the GPS units in their latest yearly visit so are an essential purchase for the coming year.
