Project Summary

We would like to start recycling / upcycling some donated items so that we can sell them to raise funds for out charity. We hope eventually to be self-sustainable and hope this project will help us on our way to do that.

Project Description

We pickup household items and pass them on to those in greatest need Sometimes we take items that could be upcycled and sold to help support the expences of the charity.

We shall be employing a local person through the PEP scheme to carry out the work, we shall be decreasing the amount of waste that goes to landfill, we shall be helping to ensure the sustainability of the charity and therefore this will help us to continue supporting the 4000 individuals that we currently support. The benifits themselves justify why the project should be supported. This might also lead to more emplyability.
