Irvine Clean Up Crew are an established environmentally focussed community group. We want to raise our engagement with schools and community groups to help with our group’s goal of a litter free Irvine.

Working alongside a local artist we will run two groups in the Irvine area focusing on improving mental health and wellbeing through the use of creative arts. One group (5 sessions) will be for Kinship carers and 5 Kinship family sessions.

We plan to plant several hundred Bluebell bulbs in the woodland areas of Holm Plantation in Ardrossan, and plant an additional 20 apple trees in the community orchard we have been planting at the site over the past two years.

We're seeking funding for a large fridge freezer for our community kitchen in Millport Town Hall.

From March to late September our cricket members, 13 years + to the adults prepare our cricket wickets for our games by scarifying, spiking, rolling, grass cutting as well as thatch and weed removal. As the season goes on we need to regrow, repair, reseed, fertilise and cultivate these cricket wickets, using our cricket covers for heat, germination and rain protection. This allows us to recycle, reuse the current wickets and cricket square as our ongoing Green Initiative.

Next project to revamp an area of the garden would benefit from 2 benches.
