Argyle Community Shop operates on a Wednesday from 11am - 4pm supporting local households with access to food and a holistic range of supports to manage the cost of living crisis. We are open to all residents of Saltcoats who can provide proof of address and give a warm, friendly welcome to everyone who comes along.

The number of participants and young people has grown this year and there is an urgent requirement for more microphones so that everyone can be heard.

Shutter Bugs are a group of enthusiastic photographers, based in the Three Towns. Coming together to share knowledge and experience of photography and the art of taking pictures. Open to people of all abilities. Phone users to digital camera users all are welcome

We plan to commission an environmental survey of Kerelaw – an essential step towards bringing the site into community ownership within the next year.

We are a rainbows group that has 22 girls and 11 on our waiting list. We would love to take the girls to the cinema to see Moana 2. We would also like to buy them badges and supplies to continue delivering the Girlguiding programme

Ardrossan Indoor Bowls Club has a large function suite which, outwith funeral teas, is unused during the day since the closure of its Cafe. It does offer a Community Corner where there are facilities to exchange books, use games such as cards, dominoes and board games and some craft materials. We would love to expand this and also offer it to be used as a Warm Hub, during the Winter. People from the 3 Towns could call in and be provided with hot drinks and soup and sandwiches.

2024 is our centenary year. Each year, we organise a number of parades such as Remembrance Day in Saltcoats and Stevenston. We also organise the annual HMS Dasher Memorial weekend at the end of March. These parades are not funded directly by North Ayrshire Council. Instead, it is up to our branch to arrange the funding for our parades. This application will go some way to ensure that our parades in Nov 2024 and Mar 2025 can go ahead.
