Argyle Community Shop operates on a Wednesday from 11am - 4pm supporting local households with access to food and a holistic range of supports to manage the cost of living crisis. We are open to all residents of Saltcoats who can provide proof of address and give a warm, friendly welcome to everyone who comes along.

2024 is our centenary year. Each year, we organise a number of parades such as Remembrance Day in Saltcoats and Stevenston. We also organise the annual HMS Dasher Memorial weekend at the end of March. These parades are not funded directly by North Ayrshire Council. Instead, it is up to our branch to arrange the funding for our parades. This application will go some way to ensure that our parades in Nov 2024 and Mar 2025 can go ahead.

Our community offers a compassionate space for open conversations and attentive listening. SeaSalt Streets wishes to build on the success of its one-off pop-up events. On this occasion the group would like to hold a SMOOTHIE SPECTACULAR where healthy milk, fruit and syrup smoothies are individually created by peddling a smoothie bike which have a blender attachment !! The participants, of all ages, can choose and make their own creation. Theŕe will also have the opportunity to "milk a cow" A life-size model cow with water dispensing teats !!! A fantastic one-off opportunity for all.

We cater for over 50 community members (45 active members) providing social interaction through Bingo, Quizzes, Lunches, Dances, Christmas Dinners and Trips.

We are newly elected House Captains of Mayfield Primary School working with Mayfield Parent Council. We would like some help from PB locality funding to help us create a wellbeing area within our school so we can use the space at lunch time and afterschool. This will include picnic benches, planters and 2 basketball stands as we want to start a lunch time and afterschool activity club.

The project supports people living with dementia to enjoy 1-2-1 befriending, provide companionship within their home, or attend one of our dementia wellbeing cafes.

The number of participants and young people has grown this year and there is an urgent requirement for more microphones so that everyone can be heard.

We are a rainbows group that has 22 girls and 11 on our waiting list. We would love to take the girls to the cinema to see Moana 2. We would also like to buy them badges and supplies to continue delivering the Girlguiding programme
