Eglinton Park Path Stewards

Formed in 2022 and constituted earlier this year, we are a group of volunteers who survey the core path network in Eglinton Country Park and identify problem areas affecting accessibility. We primarily improve paths where there is flooding and cut back branches and bushes along borders to help make paths accessible for all park users.
Castlepark Sewing Group

The aim of the knitting and sewing group is to make fidget muffs and fidget aprons/ blankets for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. These are helpful for local nursing homes such as Cumbrae Lodge who give these to residents to help keep them calm and occupied.
Pegasus ASN Group

Our Pegasus group provides a space for people with additional support needs and their carers to come together and have some respite in a group environment. We would like the funding to run 2 bus trips over the next year.
