Santa's needs a new home and a trip down Memory Lane. Bourtreehill and Broomlands community Association (BABCA) would like to apply for funding for to hold a Sixties and Seventies evening next Valentines with food and to give Santa's Grotto a makeover and offer a free activity at Christmas for children good or naughty to visit Santa in his new home at the annual Christmas Fayre and receive a pressie free of charge.

Providing a safe environment for children and their families to grow and evolve with providing breakfast and play equipment

Provision of community lunches and essential training for volunteers providing them with valuable skills while fostering community engagement and collaboration through shared meals and teamwork.

Springside Parent Council are aware of the importance of a full belly in the morning to aid the learning and concentration of our children. It would be our intention to provide breakfast baskets to the school weekly from which children can help themselves from.

The supporters club was founded in 2016 shortly after we formed the Community Social Club within the club to put something back into the community, such as Christmas dinners for pensioners and Christmas parties for children. As in these times of austerity it's hard for most people. The club itself used to pay for it but as stated it's feeling the effects of austerity.

The aim of the knitting and sewing group is to make fidget muffs and fidget aprons/ blankets for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. These are helpful for local nursing homes such as Cumbrae Lodge who give these to residents to help keep them calm and occupied.
