We would like funding to replace our shed which was destroyed by vandals, this will allow us to restart community growing initiatives and horticulture projects.

The aim of the knitting and sewing group is to make fidget muffs and fidget aprons/ blankets for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. These are helpful for local nursing homes such as Cumbrae Lodge who give these to residents to help keep them calm and occupied.

A sewing and crafting group, offering lessons in crochet, sewing and repurposing old materials into new creations. Perfect for learning new skills and fostering creativity in a friendly setting.

Springside Parent Council are aware of the importance of a full belly in the morning to aid the learning and concentration of our children. It would be our intention to provide breakfast baskets to the school weekly from which children can help themselves from.

Provision of community lunches and essential training for volunteers providing them with valuable skills while fostering community engagement and collaboration through shared meals and teamwork.
