Summary
Description
We would like to be able to go on days out as a group without it costing any of the members too much money and be able to provide them with a meal on the day. We would also like to be able have people into give us talks on different subjects.
Funds requested: £1000
£800 on bus and the meal & the £200 on bingo prizes for the year.
Location: Bridgend Community Centre, Kilbirnie
Proposed on behalf of: Our community needs groups like us to help with social isolation in the over sixties in Kilbirnie. These type of clubs are vital for mental health as sometimes this is the only time the people who attend get to speak to others face to face. Since Covid a lot of the people who attend have lost confidence in going out as much.
