Description
We are a new youth group and are starting from scratch and would like to build up some arts & craft resources and sports equipment such as a table tennis table. We would also like a speaker and projector and screen to allow us to have discos, movie nights or quizzes. These activities will allow us to have fun with our friends in a safe space away from school and home.

Projector and screen – £200 Speaker - £30 Table tennis table - £160 Sports equipment - £250 Arts and crafts - £250 Chess – £10 14 in 1 multi games table- £100

Proposed on behalf of: Our group Is a new group that hasn’t ran before and we have no resources to do any activities we would really like to do I.e arts and crafts football, table tennis, table football, chess and movie nights. Young people in our area come to the group as there isn’t much else to do in the area so having this equipment would give us lots to do, Being apart of this group helps keep positive mental health as we are connecting with people in our area, we are able to share positive experience with each other within the group and it helps to build a feeling of self-worth together. The group give us a platform to voice our opinions and to participate in things we might not have got to before, the towerlands are is an area that faces poverty, having some of the resources we would like would give some young people opportunities they may not be able to get at home.
