We are residents of Saltcoats High Flats and meet on a weekly basis. We are an older community of people with a varying mobility needs and general abilities. Many of us live by ourselves. We created our afternoon club to foster community spirit, reduce isolation and help each other out. We would like to apply for funding to help with days out.

We cater for over 50 community members (45 active members) providing social interaction through Bingo, Quizzes, Lunches, Dances, Christmas Dinners and Trips.

IMC Community Fridge first started in 2021 to provide food the local community who were most in need. Based in Springvale Street, Saltcoats we are in the heart of the local community where many are facing food insecurities for a number of reasons. Dignified access to nutritious food is our main priority and meeting the needs of the local community.

3TFM plays hundreds of pieces of music to the 3 Towns and beyond every day. A new laptop to store our music on would mean a broader range of tunes and more seamless presentation .

Community Hub of Hope, is a safe haven for anyone seeking support with mental health, battling loneliness, or nurturing their overall well-being. Our community offers a compassionate space for open conversations and attentive listening. Join us to connect, share, and participate in activities such as walking, exercise, or any interests close to your heart. Together, let's navigate life's journey with understanding and resilience. 💙

The number of participants and young people has grown this year and there is an urgent requirement for more microphones so that everyone can be heard.

Shutter Bugs are a group of enthusiastic photographers, based in the Three Towns. Coming together to share knowledge and experience of photography and the art of taking pictures. Open to people of all abilities. Phone users to digital camera users all are welcome

SeaSalt Streets wishes to build on the success of its one-off pop-up events. On this occasion the group would like to hold a SMOOTHIE SPECTACULAR where healthy milk, fruit and syrup smoothies are individually created by peddling a smoothie bike which have a blender attachment !! The participants, of all ages, can choose and make their own creation. Theŕe will also have the opportunity to "milk a cow" A life-size model cow with water dispensing teats !!! A fantastic one-off opportunity for all.

2024 is our centenary year. Each year, we organise a number of parades such as Remembrance Day in Saltcoats and Stevenston. We also organise the annual HMS Dasher Memorial weekend at the end of March. These parades are not funded directly by North Ayrshire Council. Instead, it is up to our branch to arrange the funding for our parades. This application will go some way to ensure that our parades in Nov 2024 and Mar 2025 can go ahead.
